Tramping!
Not satisfied just making one film, we aim to bring an entire second feature-length film to fruition this year as well! Written and Directed by Caleb Voyles and Produced by Isaiah Marcotte, Tramping is a fun-filled Romance and Character Study about a roving artist who dresses up like Charlie Chaplin's "Little Tramp."
If we are able to fully fund the completion and release of Limerence, we will continue to raise funds to produce our second film and beyond. We don't just want to make a single film, we want to build Kansas-based filmmaking for years to come!
Directors Statment
" I am very excited to bring this story to life and I think it will put the city of Wichita on screen in a very special and fun way. While there is a lot of depth to the story and characters, I think Tramping will be a bright and beautiful escape from everyday life. The story of Max King and his performance as "The Little Tramp" has a lot to say about the illusions and false wrappings we so easily get caught up in. Like Limerence, its a film about the journey to get back to reality and true human experience."
Vision
Tramping will be a fun and incredibly unique blend of 30s and 40s comedy, Midwest Americana, and Japanese City Pop.
It's an exploration of performance and the roles we play unaware told within a love story between two people struggling through life altering changes.
